Terms of Service
Bravo Septic (Chapman Septic LLC, DBA Bravo Septic) — Terms of Service ("Bravo Septic," "we," "us")
1. Quotes and pricing. All work is quoted before it begins. Quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on conditions described by the customer and/or visible at the time of quoting. The quoted price is the price you pay for the quoted scope — no surprises.
2. Additional work discovered on site. Some conditions can only be assessed once work is underway (for example, tank condition is only fully visible after pumping). If we discover an issue beyond the quoted scope, we will explain it, document it, and provide a separate quote. No additional work is performed — or charged — without your approval.
3. Site access and preparation. Customer agrees to provide access to the septic system at the scheduled time: gates unlocked, pets secured, and vehicles clear of the work and truck-access area. If you know the location of your tank lids, telling us in advance saves time and digging. If we arrive and cannot access the system, the visit may need to be rescheduled. If site access is not provided for a scheduled visit and the visit needs to be rescheduled, we may charge a $150 trip fee.
4. Locating and excavation. Locating and hand-exposing buried tank lids involves digging. We dig carefully and backfill when finished, but disturbed grass and soil are inherent to the work; restoration beyond backfilling (sod, landscaping, decorative cover) is the customer's responsibility.
5. Underground lines and private utilities. Public utility locates (811) do not mark private lines — sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, low-voltage wiring, private water or power runs, and similar customer-installed lines. Customer is responsible for identifying private underground lines in the work area before service. Bravo Septic is not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines.
6. Vehicle access. Our service vehicle is heavy. We position it where access allows and at the customer's direction where applicable. Bravo Septic is not responsible for damage to driveways, culverts, sidewalks, lawns, or subsurface components (including septic system components) resulting from vehicle access routes requested or approved by the customer.
7. Property authorization. The person requesting service confirms they are the property owner or are authorized by the owner to approve the work and any associated excavation or repairs.
8. Payment. Payment is due at time of service upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept all major credit/debit cards, cash, personal check, and ACH. Invoices unpaid more than 15 days after the service date may be subject to a late charge of $25 or 1.5% per month of the outstanding balance, whichever is greater, up to the maximum permitted by law. Returned or declined payments may be subject to a $30 returned-payment fee plus any bank charges we incur. Amounts remain due until paid in full.
9. Scheduling and cancellations. We confirm appointments by text and show up when we say we will; if anything changes on our end, you'll hear from us first. We ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule when possible. As a working septic company, emergency calls occasionally require adjusting the schedule — if that affects your appointment, we will contact you promptly to rebook.
10. Pumping and cleaning — scope of service. Pumping and cleaning removes tank contents and includes a good-faith visual condition report. It is not an inspection, certification, or warranty of the septic system, and does not guarantee against existing or future system issues, backups, or drainfield performance. Conditions not visible or accessible at time of service cannot be reported on.
11. Repairs and installations. Repair and installation work is performed under applicable Texas OSSF rules and county permitting requirements. Permit and county fees for permitted work are included in quote.
11a. Workmanship warranty. Bravo Septic warrants its repair workmanship for one (1) year and its installation workmanship for two (2) years from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in the labor we performed; if our workmanship fails within the warranty period, we will repair or correct it at no charge. Parts, components, and equipment (tanks, pumps, aerators, control panels, and similar) are covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties, which we will help you pursue. This warranty does not cover: damage from abuse, neglect, or lack of required maintenance; system misuse (flushed wipes, grease, chemicals, or other prohibited materials); ground movement, flooding, or other acts of nature; work performed or modifications made by others; drainfield or system performance where the underlying soil or system condition — not our workmanship — is the cause; or normal wear. Warranty applies to the original customer and property, is non-transferable, and requires the account to be paid in full.
12. Aerobic maintenance contracts. Ongoing aerobic system maintenance is governed by its separate written maintenance agreement; these terms apply to individual service visits and repairs.
13. Job documentation. We photograph work for job records. Photos of completed work may be used for marketing without identifying the customer or property address; tell us if you prefer we don't.
14. Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first attempt resolution directly and in good faith — a phone call to the owner resolves most issues. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Williamson County, Texas, including Justice of the Peace (small claims) court where the amount qualifies. In any action to enforce these terms, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorney's fees and costs.
